END OF GREEN Singer Signs Solo Deal With AFM RECORDS

June 12, 2007

END OF GREEN singer, guitarist and songwriter Michelle Darkness has signed a long-term contract with AFM Records. His solo debut will be recorded at Sonic Pump Studio in Helsinki, Finland with producer Nino Laurenne.

Michelle states: "Over the years I've written an ever-growing heap of songs. It was my intention to interrupt the ordinary cycle of album, tour and break. With END OF GREEN still being in a creative phase I want to use the time to record my own album where I can live out all my wishes and musical dreams."

All songs have been written by Michelle Darkness, who's also going to play all instruments in the studio. "I've been yearning to realize this for years," he says. "With AFM Records I've not only found an excellent home for my music but also new friends. All my darkbrothers share my happiness too."

In addition to ten original songs by Michelle, there will be at least two cover versions on the album. Several world-class musicians from Finland have already confirmed their participation in the project. More information will be made available soon.
